Dikshant (convocation) has been the part and parcel of our ancient Indian civilization and culture which has been celebrated in educational institutes since ages to announce the student as officially degree holder. Dikshant generally, means the essence of formal education, what a student has academically achieved till now. The purpose of celebrating this as a ceremony has been an academic gathering of the teachers and students to provide the degree on paper to the students and to propel them for the best utilization of the educational rites in the upcoming stages of civilization.

     This year, on 24th January, 2025 Dikshant was celebrated in each and every polytechnic institutes under the instructions of the director of technical education. There had been a grand celebration of Dikshant at Government Polytechnic Sarsai, Rath, Hamirpur in which diploma certificates were awarded to 70 students and institute topper award was given to Naincy Vishvakarma, electrical engineering with a gold medal in humble presence of the chief guest and the special guests.
